Overview
RideAway is a two-wheeler rental platform live in Pune and Vadodara. Riders rent verified bikes and scooters on daily to monthly plans, and owners list their vehicles as hosts and earn from them.
I built the product end to end for the client and shipped it to market: the Expo mobile app riders and hosts use, the Node.js backend behind it, and the admin dashboard the team runs operations from.
What I built
- Cross-platform rider and host app in Expo and React Native
- Node.js backend with a PostgreSQL database for bookings, vehicles, hosts and payouts
- Razorpay payments for rentals
- KYC verification flow so only verified riders can book
- Admin dashboard in Next.js for managing listings, bookings and users
